Double Chocolate Shortbreads

Wanting a chocolate fix at Easter time but you're sick of chocolate eggs and easter bunnies??
Why not make these delicious chocolate shortbreads?!
They require only 5 of your basic store cupboard ingredients and I'm sure at this time of year you could find some chocolate somewhere if you're quick!
They are melt in your mouth beauties that go perfectly with a glass of warm milk.

Ingredients:
  • 175g butter , softened
  • 85g golden caster sugar (I used normal granulated sugar)
  • 200g plain flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100g chocolate chips , milk or dark (I used both)
Method:

1) In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

 2) Add in the cocoa powder and flour.

3) At the same time chop the chocolate into small chunks
(if you don't already have pre made chocolate chips).

4) Separate the dough into two halves and roll each into a 5cm thick sausage.

5) Leave in the fridge for 1hr (or freezer for 30mins)

6) Cut into 1cm think rounds and bake for 10minutes.

Leave to cool and try to share!
